1910 -The 11,000 SQ FT Building was West Virginia's First Model-T Ford Garage.
Henry Ford- Born on July 30, 1863, near Dearborn, Michigan, Henry Ford created the Ford Model T car in 1908 and went on to develop the assembly line mode of production, which revolutionized the industry.
Henry Ford – frequently stopped and stayed at the Terra Alta E. S. Evans Ford garage.
In 1948 Dearborn Farm Equipment moved into the building with the Ford garage. Model T Cars were on display and sold off of the original floors that are still inside the building.
After closing in the mid 1900’s many small business operated in the building including Clem Teets Oil Company, Teets Parts and hardware, and more.
The building is now the home of a Restaurant which is now called “Shorthorns”.
